The Future of Finance

In a country that has become overrun with inflation, loans, consumer debt, corruption, and government control, the people of the United States are in dire need of financial reform.

What if instead of the Federal Reserve printing over $500 million EACH DAY and the government, banks, and institutions controlling our money, there was a way that people could take control of their finances?

Well, I have some good news, it already exists and it’s called Cryptocurrency. More specifically, Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, without a central bank or single administrator, that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries.

People like to call gold God’s money. Bitcoin is People’s money.

There is no ‘7-day hold’ on your money in the world of Bitcoin. There are no credit or background checks in the world of Bitcoin. You have complete autonomy over your money, as you should. If you want to buy, sell, or transfer your crypto, you have total control and it happens within seconds.

The US dollar loses about 2% of its value each year, meaning something that would have cost $100 just 10 years ago now costs $122. Do you have your money just sitting in a savings account, literally losing value with the bank’s generous .6% interest? Meanwhile, Bitcoin has been averaging 200% annual returns since its inception ten years ago.

Bitcoin is much more than just a financial token. There is a philosophical and metaphysical aspect of Bitcoin that is very important. Let’s think about the internet just 30 years ago. In the early 1990s, nobody (except for a select few) knew anything about it. Nobody could explain what it was or how it worked. Now, everyone has it in their pocket. The internet gave us an abundance of information, communication, entertainment, and efficiency.

Humans have been evolving for hundreds of thousands of years and the internet was just another stepping stone along the way. Cryptocurrency is the same. I have a friend who explains it like this:

Internet 1.0

The creation of the internet in the 1980s was Internet 1.0. This was the beginning of access to information and efficiency. It was a game-changer.

Internet 2.0

The creation of social media in the 2000s was internet 2.0. This was the start of the communication and entertainment era. Humans have never been more connected (digitally, at least) than we are today. The fact that we can text, call, or FaceTime someone on the other side of the world is incredible. The amount of digital content that is available is truly innumerable. On YouTube alone, there are over 500 hours of content uploaded every MINUTE. That’s 720,000 hours of video every day. And that’s on one platform.

Internet 3.0

Finally, we have arrived at Internet 3.0: cryptocurrency. We will soon be replacing our inefficient and outdated financial system with crypto. We will have more freedom, autonomy, and power over our money.

One of the coolest parts about crypto is that it doesn’t just involve money. The gaming industry will soon be run entirely on blockchain networks. Have you ever seen Ready Player One, where people live, work, and play through a virtual reality system? If not, I highly recommend you watch it. We really aren’t far off from that way of life, especially with Metaverses like Decentraland and The Sandbox. Art will be bought, sold, and enjoyed almost entirely through the form of NFT’s in the Metaverses. Musicians are now hosting virtual concerts and selling exclusive songs in these digital spaces.

I know this might sound fake or farfetched, but would you believe me if I told you 20 years ago that you can have access to all the information in the world on a device that fits in your pocket?

Why do you think that the banks, the government, and institutions don’t like cryptocurrency? Because it takes money away from them, hence taking away their power.

Cryptocurrency is here and it’s here to stay.
