On Friday, September 17, I sat in front of my computer watching the clock tick as it got closer to noon. I was anxiously waiting for the registration to open up for an exclusive marathon event hosted by Bare Performance Nutrition.
If you haven’t heard of BPN, I highly recommend you search them up on Youtube or check out their website.
I’ll give you a quick rundown. BPN is a company that was started by veteran Army Ranger Nick Bare in Austin, TX. I, like most others, found Nick on YouTube—where he and his creative team post short films and vlogs about fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle. They are of top-notch quality. Again, highly recommend you check them out.
Dubbed as a ‘hybrid-athlete’, Nick used to be a bodybuilder, transformed into an Iron Man, ran a sub-3-hour marathon, and recently completed the Leadville 100 trail race. The man is incredibly fit and can apparently conquer any athletic challenge.
In January 2022, his company is hosting the first annual ‘Go One More Marathon’. The race will take place on a private ranch outside of Austin, TX and registration was opened to only 175 runners. Runners get exclusive apparel, a tour of the BPN headquarters (which is incredible), and a chance to meet and hang out with the whole BPN team. Because of the exclusivity of the event and the following that BPN has, the race sold out in one minute and 54 seconds.
I was lucky enough to snag a spot and will be running the marathon in January.

I am beyond excited and feel so fortunate to be one of the lucky few. Because this is such a unique event, this October I will be starting a YouTube series called “Go One More Marathon Prep”.
I will be posting a weekly vlog that follows my training, nutrition, gear, information about the event itself, and everything else involving the preparation for the race. The plan is to also film my experience when I travel to Austin in January and show some BTS of the event.
